Change of plans.
I was suppose to leave for Vietnam on August 20th, but since Can Tho University's semester is starting on August 10th this pushes my leave date to August 1st.
Holy crap.
After telling myself to breathe and crying all the way to the bagel store, and then more tears on the way to work. I calmed down. Sorta.
For some reason two weeks makes a huge difference. There's so many things I need! Like, a backpack. I know, random but I'm still thinking about it. And now I have to book my own flight so there's some panic there as well. The next thought was "when will my going away party be?!?!" The third thought being "my mother is going to kill me."
Hopefully things will all come together. After all, I still have two solid months (or about 8 1/2 weeks).
But since I'm a blogging whore I now have a handy little 'Can Tho, Vietnam' clock to the right of my blog. Fancy, eh?

Don't buy a backpack here! If you want a "backpackers backpack" (like a big one for traveling) you can get one in Saigon for like 15 bucks. They aren't quality, obviously, but they work, and if you get one here its like 200 bucks. I used mine for like two months of traveling and had no problems with it - definitely worth the price difference! I'm super busy this week, but come over Saturday (you can bring whoever!) Then next week we can get together for some insiders info!!
